The Media Strategy Director will lead the development and optimization of full-funnel, cross-channel media strategies that drive measurable business results. They will play a key role in shaping the media direction for high-profile clients, translating complex performance data into clear, actionable insights, and guiding internal teams to bring media strategies to life.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of integrated, omnichannel media plans that align with client objectives, audience behavior, and business priorities
- Evaluate and recommend the optimal media mix across digital, traditional, paid social, programmatic, print, audio, and emerging platforms
- Interpret client challenges to build strategic media recommendations that connect message, audience, and performance
- Work closely with creative, brand strategy, and data teams to ensure a seamless, insights-driven planning process
- Stay ahead of trends in media consumption, platform innovation, and retail behaviors to bring fresh thinking to every plan
- Analyze campaign results across platforms, ensuring that performance aligns with KPIs and client expectations
- Identify insights from data that can inform optimizations, messaging adjustments, targeting refinements, or budget reallocations
- Partner with sales, media execution, analytics, and marketing teams to continuously test, learn, and improve outcomes
- Deliver regular performance reports with clear storytelling, actionable insights, and forward-looking recommendations
- Drive the development of learning agendas to guide continuous improvement and experimentation across campaigns
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor to clients, translating media performance and audience behavior into meaningful business impact
Qualifications:
- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree. Bachelors degree in related discipline required
- Higher education in data sciences, economics, analytic MBA, or similar graduate degree preferred
- 10+ years of marketing strategy experience and large client relationship management
