What a Media Supervisor Does:
Strong understanding of media planning/strategy and buying, expertise in strategic development and execution. Lead tactical media plans, generate strategic insights, manage campaigns from start to finish, provide guidance on optimization. Oversee daily execution, mentor team, ensure campaign success. Manage direct buys (online and offline).
Responsibilities:
- Planning: Lead planning kick-off, align with client goals, stay informed of marketplace trends, use Eversana tools, drive audience insights, develop media strategies, coordinate presentations, lead status meetings, collaborate with internal teams.
- Buying: Own RFP process, negotiate with media partners, oversee campaign execution, manage budget, approve activation documentation, guide planners, ensure accurate trafficking and creative asset tracking, optimize campaigns, manage reporting, oversee billing.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with channel experts, account management, PMs, creative, and analytics teams.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in media planning/buying (digital priority).
- Pharma media experience (DTC, HCP, Payer).
- Experience with syndicated planning tools (e.g., MRI/Simmons, Vivvix).
- Experience managing multiple accounts/clients.
- Prisma or MediaOcean experience required.
- Leadership experience (managing/mentoring) a plus.
Skills: Strong communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, negotiation, strong computer skills (Microsoft Office), media management, billing systems, marketing concepts, third-party ad servers, ability to work cross-channel, detail-oriented, follow-through, leadership.
