Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Billing and Customer Success Specialist to support our growing telehealth practice. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing, working closely with both patients and insurance providers to facilitate a smooth billing process. This is a fully remote position with a flexible schedule, offering the opportunity to balance work and life in a way that works for you.

Your Role in the Team:

  • Address and resolve billing inquiries with empathy, providing clarity and support to patients. This is the primary role for this position.
  • Submit and manage medical claims with precision and care.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage, ensuring a seamless patient experience.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure documentation accuracy, fostering strong internal partnerships.
  • Proactively monitor and follow up on unpaid claims, advocating for timely resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with all billing regulations, promoting ethical and transparent practices.

Who You Are:

  • You have RCM experience in medical billing and coding (Required).
  • Your communication and customer service skills shine, allowing you to handle patient challenges with compassion (Required).
  • You excel at using billing software and EMR systems (Required).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, you thrive in a fast-paced environment (Required).

What Sets You Apart (Preferred):

  • Certified in Medical Billing and Coding, demonstrating your commitment to professional growth.
  • Experienced in telehealth billing practices, keeping you ahead in the evolving healthcare landscape.
  • Familiar with handling multiple insurance plans and paneling, giving you a broad understanding of patient needs.
  • Previous experience in a multi-specialty practice, positioning you to hit the ground running.

Experience & Certification:

  • 5 years of experience in Medical Billing (Preferred).
  • Certification in Medical Billing and Coding (Preferred).
  • Experience in telehealth billing (Preferred).
