Job Details
The NBC Local division creates content across multiple platforms. Our central digital news desk provides national news and assistance to local markets.We are looking for a creative multiplatform editor who speaks and writes in both English and Spanish fluently. The multiplatform editor will write, edit, publish and curate digital content of national interest.
- Responsibilities:
- Contribute original content daily.
- Curate national content.
- Assist local editors covering major breaking news.
- Contribute to enterprise projects.
- Build content for upcoming events.
- Participate in strategic discussions.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Overnight, east coast-based hours.
- Speak, read and write in both Spanish and English.
- Experience as an editor, writer or producer.
- Write on deadline with speed and accuracy using AP Style.
- Work in New York, NY
