Full-Time Onboarding Specialist

• Client Onboarding & Implementation: Serve as the primary contact for new school clients during onboarding.
• Lead kickoff meetings to establish timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
• Gather, review, and validate client data.
• Coordinate setup and configuration of financial and payroll systems.
• Facilitate weekly check-in meetings with new clients.
• Training & Knowledge Transfer: Train school leaders and staff on new systems, processes, and workflows.
• Develop and deliver written guides, checklists, and resource materials.
• Project Management & Communication: Track onboarding milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless handoffs.
• Keep clients informed through regular progress updates and status reports.
• Demos & Pre-Sales Support: Conduct tailored demonstrations of accounting, payroll, and accounts payable platforms.
• Partner with the sales team to address technical and process questions.
• Relationship Building: Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients.

• EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of experience in charter school operations, business management, accounting, or client services
• Strong knowledge of charter school funding models, compliance requirements, and payroll practices preferred

• Project management and organizational skills
• Financial/accounting software (e.g. Sage Intacct, Inova, ADP, etc.)
