Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for leading strategic planning, execution, and optimization of digital acquisition and retention programs.
Data-centric role, owning key marketing performance metrics (CAC, LTV, AOV, repurchase rate). Builds robust reporting infrastructure and drives scalable growth via rigorous testing and attribution modeling.
Unleashes actionable insights through KPI tracking, incrementality testing, and cross-channel attribution analysis.
Ideal candidate possesses deep experience in DTC performance marketing, fluency in acquisition and lifecycle levers, and a proven ability to improve efficiency and scale through data-informed decision-making.
Reports to: Director of Digital Sales
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain dashboards tracking KPIs (CAC, LTV, AOV, LTM revenue, cohort trends).
- Lead marketing mix modeling and incrementality testing to understand channel impact.
- Design and manage attribution frameworks across paid, organic, and retention touchpoints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on forecasts, performance goals, and data infrastructure needs.
- Paid Media Management: Oversee performance across platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest), drive budget allocation, pacing, and ROI optimization.
- Lead creative testing frameworks and inform asset development.
- Ensure precision in tracking, attribution tagging, and data integrity.
- Lifecycle & Retention Marketing: Collaborate on email, SMS, and push campaign strategy; guide segmentation, personalization, and automation strategies to improve retention metrics and customer LTV.
- Support optimization of the subscription lifecycle.
- Testing & Optimization: Define a robust testing roadmap across acquisition and lifecycle channels; lead experimentation frameworks to support incrementality, channel efficiency, and funnel performance.
- Monitor campaign performance and develop optimization strategies.
- Team Collaboration & Development: Provide mentorship to Digital Marketing Specialists; foster cross-functional collaboration across marketing, analytics, and eCommerce.
- Partner with the Digital Marketing Director.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years in performance marketing or growth analytics (DTC or eCommerce).
- Deep understanding of marketing KPIs (CAC, LTV, AOV, payback period, repurchase rate).
- Experience in incrementality testing, MMM, and attribution.
- Hands-on experience with paid media platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok), GA4, UTM structure, and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio).
- Proficiency with Shopify and retention platforms (Attentive, Klaviyo, Recharge).
- Strong analytical acumen and strategic mindset, translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills in fast-paced environments.
