Job Details
We are looking for a Plant Accountant and Controller (m/f/d) within TOMRA Feedstock to establish and perform general ledger accounting for the newly built TPRF facility.
The position is located in Norway and requires readiness to travel 3 – 4 times a year whilst also having the ability to work remotely the rest of the time.
Responsibilities:
- Handle complete general ledger accounting
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and accounting standards as well as group accounting standards (IFRS)
- Cooperate with external auditors and serve as contact person for tax authorities; preparation of VAT-declaration
- Handle bank transactions and reconciliations as well as preparation of cash flow forecasts and dunning process
- Act as ERP Key User for finance applications; participate in the implementation of the system; proactively produce input for continuous improvement of the system
- Create and generate monthly reports and variance analysis of actual performance and provide recommendations for optimization measures
- Support in regular budgeting process
- Work on special projects with focus on continuous process improvements
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a fully qualified accountant in a production environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of cost and asset accounting, product costing, operations controlling
- Experienced user of ERP-systems, ideally IFS
- Proficiency in Norwegian and English
- University Degree in Accounting/Controlling or Finance
- Excellent communications skills and the ability to comfortably communicate financial information to senior levels in the organization
- Understanding of recycling processes would be nice to bring
