NBCUniversal is hiring an Associate of Platform Operations (Sports) to join a team responsible for project managing live streams, publishing fast-turnaround replays, executing product features, curating playlists and identifying high performance highlights from sports events on the Peacock service.
We seek a detail-oriented operator skilled in managing a demanding schedule.
The ideal candidate will have experience driving engagement with complex marquee events (e.g., Olympics, NFL, NBA, Premier League, World Cup), and curating content for niche sports like speed skating, figure skating, cycling.
The Operations team curates Peacock's content across all products and audiences, including live event merchandising and publishing operations.
This 24/7 operation updates content based on performance, programming tactics and real-time events, coordinating with Video Operations, Product, Marketing, Customer Support teams.
The role requires hands-on experience managing complex digital publishing projects (including live sports streams), proficiency in content management systems, and responsibility for accuracy.
Success demands fast-paced work, meeting deadlines for large content volumes, managing project assets and logistics for multiple events, prioritizing based on data, and clear communication.
- Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience in digital media platforms, title operations, or publishing at a large-scale editorial, e-commerce, or video service.
- Experience with live streamed events.
- Ability to manage a dynamic content pipeline 7 days a week.
- Excellent organization, communication, attention to detail, and ability to articulate workflows.
- Proficiency in content management systems preferred.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork.
- Proactive identification of process improvements.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Passion for sports, news, television, and movies.
Additional Requirements:
- Hybrid position, contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
- Company-sponsored benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid leave, tuition reimbursement).
Salary range: $65,000 - $75,000
