Role: The Principal Enterprise Architect will play a key role in helping the Digital Marketing and Digital Technologies leadership team realize its future business capabilities by driving the definition and adoption of architecture principles, industry best practices, and design patterns across Marketing and Go-to-Market functions.

- Lead strategic conversations with Marketing business and IT executives, guiding the team towards key business outcomes through digital maturity and transformation.
- Influence stakeholders and assist in designing and shaping future programs.
- Establish and maintain the three-year target state reference architecture.
- Define technology and process standards for solution architects and Product/Engineering teams.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture function to ensure alignment with technology and information governance processes.
- Ensure application and solution designs adhere to enterprise architecture standards and the enterprise reference architecture.
- Participate in detailed evaluations of new technology platforms and provide actionable recommendations.
- Track and manage technical debt, application rationalization ensuring its remediation.
- Advocate for and improve technology strategy, frameworks, standards, and best practices across the enterprise.
- Serve as the go-to expert on processes and systems, and mentor colleagues to foster knowledge-sharing.
- Have experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
- Have experience in designing and architecting marketing technologies.
- Have strong technical expertise across applications, data, infrastructure, and integrations, along with strong domain knowledge.
- Have a good understanding of MarTech/AdTech stacks, CMS, CDP, CRM, A/B testing, Headless CMS, personalization, Marketing Automation, UX/UI design, and modern web/mobile development practices.
- Have an understanding of the Digital and Marketing landscape as it pertains to MarTech, AdTech, Digital Acquisition, SEO, and SEM and how it works together in a customer journey.
- Have experience in content management, developing engagement and experience systems.
- Have experience staying informed about innovations in marketing technology, including generative AI and chatbots.
- Demonstrate success in an architect role, leading the design of technology architectures, workflows, best practices, and governance frameworks.
- Be adept at tailoring communication for different audiences.
- Utilize deep knowledge of digital technologies and best practices to shape technical strategies, guide software development, provide technical support, and optimize tool usage.
- Be proficient in developing and maintaining business architecture models, roadmaps, business capabilities, and standards.
- Continuously monitor and analyze business performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and application rationalization.
- Have experience with Adobe products, Microservices and ServiceNow products.
- Have led the strategy and execution of the enterprise application architecture strategy, aligning it with business goals and evolving technology trends.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather functional requirements and translate them into comprehensive architectural designs.
