Your RoleReport to the Associate Director of Production. Your primary responsibility is to partner with backend and platform teams for smooth releases and live operations globally.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee and make critical decisions on live game issues.
- Evolve and maintain best practices for development operations.
- Collaborate with Backend & Infra/Platform engineering to improve cloud infrastructure and reduce costs.
- Work with Live Operations to improve application performance and handle live issues.
- Manage vendor relationships and AWS Cloud Infrastructure costs.
- Follow checklists to build, deploy, and release updates, and make live configuration changes (GitHub, LaunchDarkly).
- Manage client build configurations and store releases (Apple App Store, Google Play, Steamworks, Samsung).
- Coordinate release schedules (client & server hotfixes) with marketing, QA, engineers, product, and design.
- Create and approve pull requests (sometimes involving basic code).
- Proactively identify and mitigate bottlenecks.
- Ensure sustainable team pace and continuous improvement.
- Champion project vision to the team.

What You’ll Need
- Experience shipping and supporting a live game or live service as a technical producer or technical program manager.
- Hands-on experience with version control software (GitHub).
- High empathy and team support.
- Positive leadership, ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Excellent and flexible communication skills.
- Comfortable with ambiguity.
- Passion for playing and making great games.
Nice to Have (But Not Necessary)
- AWS or other cloud provider experience.
- Live mobile game experience.
- Unity experience.
- App store experience (Apple App Store, Google Play, Steamworks, Samsung).
Compensation$205,000 - $250,000 USD + equity + comprehensive benefits + potential bonuses.
