Optum is dedicated to improving health outcomes globally. Join our Product Design team to drive design strategy for Optum Insight’s SaaS solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create functional prototypes and static mockups.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and implement project design activities.
- Participate in research and concept testing.
- Perform design duties for projects, meeting UX, technical, and business needs.
- Advocate for user-centered design and accessibility.
- Leverage and contribute to design pattern libraries.
- Critique in-progress design work.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of UX design experience, including wireframes and prototypes.
- 10+ years: Understanding of user-centered design and research practices.
- 10+ years: Experience in user research and concept testing.
- Portfolio of UX project deliverables, including experience in AI/ML.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or related field.
- Experience with enterprise software in healthcare or finance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of UX analytics and metrics.
- Deep understanding of Figma, generative design tools, LLMs.
- Involvement in the UX community.
