AECOM is seeking a Program Manager – Contracts to be based in San Antonio, TX.
SUMMARY: The Program Manager - Contracts is responsible for ensuring compliance with all statutes and client policies and procedures; cost-effective expenditure of construction contract resources; and ensuring construction contractors fulfill strategic and contractual obligations to the client for the successful delivery of the project on schedule and within budget. They serve as an expert advisor and provide recommendations regarding contract administration and management to the client’s executive team and Contract Administration.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for overseeing the overall planning, direction, and timely execution of the client’s contract project management.
- Defining critical quality factors, process improvements on key initiatives that result in significant improvements in service delivery, reduced operational unit costs, increased quality, and reduced process cycle time.
- Providing technical direction in contract project management, team building, facilitation, process improvement analysis, and the methodology required to develop and substantiate various procurements for the project.
- Determining goals and objectives that need additional emphasis; developing measures that evaluate performance; and making recommendations for program improvement.
- Coordinating with the Contracting and Audit offices for continual process improvement.
- Providing direction and oversight on client contract management issues and program concerns to ensure all services are acquired in accordance with current laws, policies, and procedures.
- Developing and implementing policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines for the client’s contract administration program.
- Providing direction on monitoring risks and trends with potential impacts to program contracts and ensuring proactive steps are taken to meet contract deliverables.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Contracting warrant with a state or federal entity.
- Master’s degree in business, law, contracting, or related field.
- FAC-C or DAWIA certified.
- Experience with IDIQ contract or large program source selection.
This job will require travel to the Sacramento Office. Sponsorship is provided for this role.
