Job Details
Partnership with Children provides critical counseling, school-wide services, and family and community outreach in NYC public schools. The ideal Program Operations Coordinator is organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities. This role is vital for a well-functioning department, providing essential support to direct service and program leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Office Administration & Support: Schedule meetings, maintain calendars, set up meeting rooms and technology for presentations.
- Documentation Management: File, copy, type, and scan documents to support department operations.
- Equipment: Ensure program staff equipment is distributed and maintained. Coordinate technology repairs.
- Liaison to Development: Coordinate with school staff and development department for donor-sponsored events and initiatives.
- Program Department Supplies: Purchase supplies, manage inventory, and anticipate needs.
- Operational Support: Provide logistical, administrative, and hands-on support for school events, after-school and summer programs (on-site and central office).
- Staff Accounts: Create and maintain staff accounts and logins for technology and vendors.
- Office Manager Coverage: Provide coverage for the Office Manager one day per week and during vacations.
- Other tasks: Other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:

- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- Experience creating operational systems
- Strong initiative, commitment to excellence, and follow-through
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in operations support (desired)
- Familiarity with basic graphic design programs (Canva, Adobe Creative, etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and move furniture
- Ability to travel by subway
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, with some flexibility. 4 days/week in-person at the central office, occasional support at school events. 1 remote day per week (if desired).
Salary & Benefits: $45,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits package.
