Programmatic Trader will join our in-House programmatic team, within the media team.
Seeking results-driven, detail-oriented individual with prior experience launching, managing, and optimizing campaigns using demand-side platforms (DSPs) for positive client outcomes.
Enjoys working various platforms daily and the nitty-gritty details of programmatic campaigns.
Must be numbers-oriented, analytical, an Excel guru, and self-starter.
Will work with internal teams (Media Planning & Analytics) to analyze, understand, and implement campaign requirements/optimizations.
Primary Role: Operate in-platform, executing campaigns planned with Supervisor/leader.
Responsibilities:
- Manage/optimize live programmatic campaigns effectively.
- Meet client objectives while implementing/managing campaigns within the agency trading desk.
- Monitor/analyze campaign expectations (performance, brand safety, viewability).
- Manage campaign calendar, assets, screenshots, billing, pre/post-launch processes.
- Data analysis & optimization; maintain optimization logs.
- Provide weekly performance snapshots and pacing.
- Contribute to analytics reporting.
- Identify/diagnose issues quickly, escalating before becoming problems.
- Maintain strong vendor/cross-agency partner relationships.
- Demonstrate confidence, participate in meetings.
- Contribute to tactical media planning, forecasting, estimation, and programmatic media recommendations.
- Contribute to proposals, provide guidance on launch docs.
- Identify new media opportunities.
- Stay abreast of new technologies, trends, and practices/consistently meeting with vendors.
- Proactively suggest improvements to the media/programmatic process.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience preferred.
- Deep understanding of DSP/other platform (ad server) relationships.
- Proficient in demand-side platforms (DSPs).
- Campaign setup/components within DSPs.
- Budget management.
- Campaign optimization.
- Creative testing & implementation.
- Data analysis (proficient).
- Data platforms/vendors proficiency.
- 3rd-party verification tools proficiency.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas).
- Communicate/propose optimization recommendations.
- Identify trends in data to drive optimization.
- Communicate optimization/shifts in media investment to meet campaign success goals.
- Collaborate with media team, analytics, and planning.
- Lead executional calls with multiple parties.
- Identify issues; know when to escalate.
- Troubleshoot effectively.
