We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our Engineering team.
Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Automation Engineer to join a Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated tests to ensure product quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Cypress.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand project requirements and create testing strategies.
- Create and execute automated tests for both frontend and backend components.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and maintain test data and environments.
- Identify, report, and track bugs.
- Perform manual testing when necessary.
- Continuously improve testing practices and coverage.
- Stay updated with emerging QA trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance with a focus on automation testing.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Typescript.
- Strong experience with Playwright and Cypress.
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber/SpecFlow).
- Solid understanding of software testing principles.
- Experience testing web applications and APIs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter/LoadRunner).
- Knowledge of cloud environments and containerization.
