Job Details
We’re looking for a QA Engineer who enjoys problem-solving and exploring root causes of issues.
Your tasks involve testing across different areas: backend, frontend, and mobile apps.
You'll contribute to the QA and release management processes, gaining opportunities for self-development, especially in functional testing.
Work on web, mobile, and API testing, and gain hands-on database testing experience.
Fixed-term contract (minimum 12 months) with potential extension.
Remote or office work (Warsaw) is an option.
Responsibilities:
- Design, create, update test cases based on functional requirements & test design techniques. Suggest automation test cases.
- Run manual tests and document results per agreed standards for web and mobile apps.
- Report defects, collaborate with developers/product teams for resolution, and follow up on bug fixes.
- Participate in team planning, provide test estimates, and prioritize tasks.
- Contribute new solutions by identifying gaps/issues in requirements and reviewing testability.
- Review test cases created by other QA Engineers.
- Check automated test results and report issues.
- Identify regression testing areas and propose automation test cases.
- Collaborate to create test strategies based on Scrum/Agile methods, and apply best practices.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of testing experience, preferably with diverse responsibilities.
- Solid knowledge of ISTQB standards (test types, levels, design techniques, test pyramid rule, bug management).
- Hands-on experience in designing/running business application tests.
- Practical mobile app testing experience.
- API and UI testing experience.
- Test coverage assessment, gap identification, and resolution.
- Experience with test management & manual testing tools (Postman/OpenAPI, Charles/Proxyman, Chrome Dev Tools).
- Version control (Git) and pull request experience.
- SQL testing experience.
- Understanding of Agile principles & methodologies.
