Your Role Reporting to the Director of Quality Assurance, you'll focus on the Collaborative Accounts Receivable platform and its ERP Payment solution integrations. You'll drive quality initiatives throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring products meet standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the QA team
- Implement test strategies
- Automate processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for robust, scalable solutions
- Advocate for quality throughout the development process
- Analyze process gaps and build/align QA best practices
- Partner with Product managers, Customer care, DevOps, and other engineers
- Ensure project goals are met, and identify real-time use cases
- Become a Product SME
- Track test coverage with new releases, ensuring comprehensive coverage and regression case documentation
- Track defects, resolve issues, and perform root cause analysis
- Conduct performance evaluations for team members
- Define and monitor Quality KPIs
- Drive a Shift-Left approach for early defect identification
- Increase test automation coverage
- Maintain and enhance CI (Continuous Integration) to minimize execution time and ensure robustness
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of software QA experience, with 2+ years in a lead/managerial role
- Proven experience leading a QA team and managing testing processes in an Agile/DevOps environment with a Shift-Left mindset
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test processes, and SDLC
- Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) preferably in Java
- Familiar with Rest Assured, Postman
- ERP system exposure is a plus
- Experience with version control (Git), test management (Jira/TestRail), and CI/CD (Jenkins)
- Strong knowledge of technologies spanning various languages (e.g., Ruby, Java), databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL), and operating systems (e.g., Mac, Windows, Linux)
- Experience with AI/machine learning technologies and their application in QA
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Prioritization, multitasking, and effective deadline management
- Experience in the payments industry, PCI/DSS, or accounting applications is a plus
