CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a QA Manager to work on Cyberpunk 2, the follow-up to Cyberpunk 2077. You will build and lead the QA team from the ground up, ensuring the highest quality standards. Drive the QA strategy, adapt to project needs, and collaborate with internal/external partners for a top-tier gaming experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and lead a new QA team, defining roles/responsibilities, and developing team member plans.
- Execute the QA strategy and adapt it to project needs.
- Identify and implement process improvements for enhanced workflows and efficiency.
- Establish/monitor quality metrics, set standards, and ensure proper tools/processes.
- Collaborate with external QA vendors for cooperation, communication, and quality alignment.
- Manage risks/dependencies, identifying issues early and creating action plans.
- Drive change management, ensuring all stakeholders understand and adopt changes.
- Regularly audit processes and implement corrective actions for high quality maintenance.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of game industry experience in a similar role, proven track record with AAA games.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard game development processes and methodologies.
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience, managing senior staff across disciplines.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience setting up QA processes for cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on process optimization/continuous improvement.
- Experience with risk management, quality control, and change management in large-scale projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work across teams.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
Nice to Haves:
- Appreciation for the Cyberpunk universe.
- Experience working with Unreal Engine.
- Experience writing scripts for automation/process improvement.
