DIRECTV is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist to join our Marketing Technology team.
This pivotal role will serve as both the technical steward and internal advocate for our Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) platform.
Collaborate with Marketing Strategy, IT, Billing, Collections, and Automation teams to maintain, optimize, and expand marketing technology capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as subject matter expert for Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Advocate for new features driving automation and value.
- Partner with teams to troubleshoot defects and resolve issues.
- Ensure ongoing maintenance, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting of SFMC instances.
- Steer design, build, and deploy or automate marketing journeys, email campaigns, SMS campaigns, and audience segments.
- Partner with business units to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, automated marketing solutions.
- Collaborate with IT, Marketing Strategy, Billing, and Collections to support integrated campaigns.
- Advocate for best practices in data hygiene, audience segmentation, and marketing automation.
- Maintain documentation of workflows, integrations, and operational procedures.
- Stay current on Salesforce releases and new features, making adoption recommendations.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, etc.).
- Proven experience maintaining and optimizing large-scale marketing platforms.
- Strong understanding of marketing data and customer lifecycle management.
- Experience working cross-functionally.
- Proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, HTML/CSS, and data extension management.
- Extensive knowledge with REST and SOAP APIs and SFMC integrations (a plus).
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications preferred (e.g., Email Specialist, Consultant, Developer).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Experience in complex Marketing Technology Stacks preferred.

Base Salary range: $96,140 - $174,570 (depending on Labor Market Zone).
