SEM Strategist

Assist the Account Management team with digital strategy, advice, and support.

Keep abreast of SEM platform offerings, policies, and products.

Support the scalability of the Account team.

What You’ll Do

1. Strategy Team Management & Collaboration
2. Collaborate with SEM Strategy Manager, Programmatic & Social Strategy Manager on new business opportunities, renewals, and upsells
3. Present a unified recommendation for Performance Marketing using the All-In core offering, with direct ownership of the SEM portion of the recommendations
4. Lead applicable training sessions for new hires
5. Help build a library of training materials and resources

5. Sales & Client Services Support
6. Provide Budget Recommendations as requested from the Sales and Client Services team, and collaborate with client teams
7. Develop presentations or training sessions for clients
8. Provide proactive recommendations for upsells or budget reallocations based on campaign performance and industry shifts
9. Assist with RFPs from a client strategy perspective
10. Pull data or work with data teams to gather information for RFPs

10. Digital Strategy Policy & Guidelines
11. Ensure all campaigns comply with HIPAA, PHI, and other sensitive healthcare regulations
12. Provide best practices and strategic guidance

13. Strategic Guidance
14. Support CMs/Sales/Client Leads with ad hoc strategy & support, campaign optimizations, inquiries, etc.
15. Ongoing refinement and development of keyword templates
16. Assist with campaign audits and reviews

17. Client Support
18. Support CMs/Sales/Client Leads on select client calls from a strategy/backup perspective
19. Create tailored SEM strategies based on client-specific goals, service lines, and geographic priorities
20. Regularly assess campaign performance and implement refinements to maximize efficiency and achieve KPIs

21. Platforms & Products
22. Partner with platforms like Google and Bing to pilot new features and products
23. Dig into & research digital strategy trends
24. Look into platform changes, updates, product features, and trends
25. Meet with Google reps as needed

25. Deployment
26. Serve as a mentor to junior SEM team members
27. Stay up to date on SEM certifications and trends, providing ongoing training
28. Research the next steps and strategy, and provide recommendations on any deployments needed
29. Support the education, roll-out, and next steps of any product adoptions, updates, or changes
30. Assist with the implementations of initiatives
