About Central: Central eliminates back-office work for startups, using AI agents and human experts to handle payroll, benefits, compliance, accounting, and taxes.

As an early member, you'll help Central scale.
What you'll do:
- Manage accounting for startups.
- Improve work from offshore bookkeepers and automation tools.
- Act as the main accounting contact for clients.
- Design scalable systems and processes.
- Standardize and document workflows.
- Partner with our internal team and engineers to spot automation opportunities.
- Help shape how we build and scale our accounting offering.
Your skills:
- 4–6+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong accounting foundation.
- Experience managing offshore teams or automation-assisted workflows.
- Excellent communicator.
- Process-minded and tech-forward.
- Proficient in tools like QBO, Puzzle, and Google Sheets.
- CPA preferred but not required.
Remote role - ideally based in or around Vancouver, BC
