Full-Time Senior Accountant Consultant

Launch Finance is a financial services firm serving startups. We seek a Senior Accountant for fractional accounting and consulting.

Responsibilities may include:

• Managing payables, expense reports, and vendor master files.
• Preparing invoices, handling customer payments, and reconciling accounts receivable.
• Potentially processing payroll and related entries.
• Participating in month-end close processes, including account reconciliations.
• Resolving accounting discrepancies.
• Managing cash, bank reconciliations, and cash burn reporting.
• Ensuring GAAP and FASB compliance.
• Supporting external tax professionals.
• Assisting in developing and maintaining financial controls.
• Preparing monthly internal financial statements.
• Payroll processing.
• Preparing 1099s.
• Providing audit support and documentation.
• Updating budget models.

Requirements include:

• Experience as a Senior Accountant at a venture-backed tech company.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Xero, bill.com, and expense software.
• Payroll processing experience.
