Job Details
CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Animation TD for Cyberpunk 2. This role involves developing high-quality animation technology, working closely with the Technical Art Director, animation team, and technical artists.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Design, create, test, and maintain asset rigs.
- Collaborate with character artists, the vehicles team, and technical animators to solve animation issues.
- Develop and maintain motion and deformation systems.
- Research and test new techniques and workflows to improve animation pipelines.
- Write pipeline tools to streamline setup processes.
- Document tools and workflows clearly for team use.
- Coordinate with leads and production to estimate and plan work.
- Contribute to a culture of creativity, trust, and technical excellence.
Requirements:
- Significant experience (5+ years) in the movie, broadcast, or gaming industries.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong technical and creative skills.
- Animation and rigging experience in Maya and Motion Builder across diverse asset types.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 and procedural animation system development.
- Experience in tool development and automation using C++ and/or Python.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with machine learning systems.
- Experience with Epic’s Metahuman workflow and pipeline.
Working Mode: Office-First (Warsaw office). Remote work from within Europe may be considered for selected roles. Relocation support is provided.
