Full-Time Senior Animation TD

Daily Responsibilities:

• Design, create, test, and maintain asset rigs.
• Collaborate with character artists, the vehicles team, and technical animators to solve animation issues and consult on design.
• Develop and maintain motion and deformation systems.
• Research and test new techniques and workflows to improve animation pipelines.
• Write pipeline tools to streamline setup processes.
• Document tools and workflows clearly for team use.
• Coordinate with leads and production to estimate and plan work.
• Contribute to a culture of creativity, trust, and technical excellence.

Requirements:

• Significant experience (5+ years) in movie, broadcast, or gaming industries.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong technical and creative skills.
• Animation and rigging experience in Maya and Motion Builder.
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 and procedural animation system development.
• Experience in tool development and automation using C++ and/or Python.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with machine learning systems.
• Experience with Epic’s Metahuman workflow and pipeline.
