Full-Time Senior Client Advisor

About the role: This position manages a client portfolio within the client fulfillment department, delivering services to clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Weekly and monthly client relationship management
• Primary client response handling
• Providing business owners with high-level financial insights and analysis
• Addressing tight deadlines with general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting tasks
• Managing and supervising 1-3 bookkeepers on transactional tasks (AP/AR, expense categorization, reconciliations, etc.)
• Delegating and reviewing bookkeeper work for accuracy and timeliness
• Reconciling tax returns to books and records
• Meeting deadlines and budgets
• Completing back work projects efficiently
• Communicating with Accounting Manager regarding financial close, accounting issues, and deliverables
• Utilizing cloud-based accounting systems and add-ons
• Setting up and managing cloud technology integrations
• Reviewing workflows and business operations to recommend technology improvements

Qualifications:

• Passion for helping small businesses
• GAAP-based financial reporting expertise
• Experience in e-commerce, product, technology, professional service, or real estate industries
• 1-2 years experience overseeing bookkeepers or staff accountants
• Consulting experience
• Cloud-based accounting experience
• Public accounting experience

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $70,000-$90,000/year + variable compensation
