Job Summary: The Senior Director of Channel Strategy and Insights will oversee the integration of all media channels (paid, earned, and owned) at Code.org, focusing on strategic decisions regarding media, analytics, and performance. This role ensures alignment, optimization, and maximum impact of all marketing channels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Channel Strategy: Define and lead the overarching strategy for integrating paid, earned, and owned media channels for maximum effectiveness. Develop segmented audience strategies for tailored channel and platform use. Ensure alignment with best practices, audience needs, and organizational goals.
- Cross-Channel Leadership & Alignment: Foster collaboration among channel managers, creative teams, and stakeholders. Share insights across channels to maximize impact and drive cross-channel collaboration.
- Reporting and Analysis: Oversee reporting and analysis of media performance to drive campaign improvements. Define KPIs aligned with business goals and create performance dashboards. Lead the creation of reports that explain *why* data trends occur, not just what the data shows.
- Optimization and Performance Management: Drive continuous optimization using data insights to improve campaigns. Establish a culture of testing and experimentation (A/B testing, etc.) to refine strategies.
- Media Operations: Streamline media operations for integrated campaigns. Ensure timely, correct, and effective targeting of creative and media assets across channels. Implement anomaly detection for rapid issue resolution.
