Responsibilities:Design, implement, and optimize engine-level systems in Unreal Engine 5, including rendering, physics, and input subsystems.Profile and resolve performance and memory issues using UE5-native tools across multiple hardware platforms.Extend and integrate UE5 features such as Chaos Physics, Enhanced Input, and World Partition into core systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions align with platform, product, and user needs.Maintain high-quality documentation and contribute to best practices and technical architecture guidance.
Requirements:5+ years of C++ experience, with at least 3 years focused specifically on Unreal Engine 5 development.Expert-level understanding of UE5 systems, including Lumen, Nanite, Chaos, Gameplay Framework, and Editor extensibility.Demonstrated experience shipping or supporting production projects in UE5 beyond blueprint scripting.Strong debugging and performance optimization skills with tools like Unreal Insights and platform profilers.Proven ability to collaborate in remote, multi-disciplinary teams and contribute to large-scale technical direction.
Nice to Haves:Experience building systems for simulation, digital twins, or technical visualization.Familiarity with low-latency input systems or hardware integration.Experience developing custom tools or extending the Unreal Editor for pipeline support.
