About the Team
As a potential job applicant at Nutanix, you would be welcomed into a dynamic and collaborative team known as NY/NJ Metro Enterprise. This team consists of 6 Senior Enterprise Account Managers based in the NY/NJ Metro Territory, reporting to a Director, Sales. You will report to the Director, Sales and work remotely, with a focus on engaging with customers and closing deals. While the role offers flexibility in terms of remote, we believe in the importance of developing strong customer relationships face-to-face. Therefore, we encourage sales reps to spend time meeting clients in person. Going into the office is not mandatory, and the team has the autonomy to decide on the best work setup for themselves.
In this role, travel will be 25 % , allowing you to focus entirely on nurturing client relationships and closing business deals efficiently in your territory. The emphasis is on building connections and driving sales success within the NY/NJ Metro Territory. Your Role
- Experience demonstrating a solid expertise in technical specifications required to sell Nutanix products and services into Enterprise-level accounts.
- Possess an aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems and the competitive landscape.
- Ability to work collaboratively with employees within the sales function and cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, and Product Development.
- Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and consultative sales techniques.
- Ability to communicate with senior management about their business challenges and Nutanix data management storage solutions.
- Experience with SFDC or other Customer Relationship Management tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.

- 5+ years of enterprise field sales experience.
