About the RoleAs the Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will own the strategy and execution of our lifecycle marketing programs across email and SMS. You’ll play a critical role in shaping how we engage, nurture, and retain users across multiple segments—including individuals seeking care, therapists on our platform, and our B2B audiences.
You’ll be responsible for working closely with our CRM Operations Manager as you go about designing and optimizing end-to-end customer journeys, building data-driven campaigns that deliver the right message at the right moment.
This role will work cross-functionally with content, product marketing, clinical, and sales teams to create personalized, impactful experiences that increase retention and drive long-term value.
What You’ll Do
- Strategy Development: Own and drive the lifecycle marketing strategy for email and SMS, focusing on customer retention, engagement, and conversion at every stage of the journey.
- Customer Journeys: Design and optimize end-to-end customer journeys, using data and insights to improve engagement, retention, and overall customer lifetime value.
- Segmentation and Personalization: Work with data teams to develop advanced segmentation strategies in Iterable that ensure personalized, relevant messaging to customers.
- Campaign Execution: Oversee the planning, creation, and execution of lifecycle marketing campaigns in Iterable. Collaborate with creative teams to ensure messaging is compelling and on-brand.
- A/B Testing & Optimization: Continuously test and optimize campaigns in Iterable to improve key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, product, design, data, and analytics teams to ensure campaigns are aligned with business goals and customer needs.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on the performance of lifecycle campaigns. Provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Keep up with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in email and SMS marketing to drive innovation and keep our campaigns fresh and engaging.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing, ideally in a B2C or B2B2C environment
- Proven track record of building and optimizing lifecycle programs that drive measurable results
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (Iterable, Braze, Klaviyo, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a knack for crafting compelling and clear messaging
- A strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves and execute
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment with product, design, and analytics teams
- Passion for mental health and a belief in the power of meaningful communication
Nice to Have:
- Experience with customer data platforms (CDPs) and CRM tools.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge or an understanding of email and SMS technical requirements.
