Full-Time Senior Online Programmer

Key Responsibilities:

• Propose, implement, and own online tasks and features in a timely manner.
• Provide regular updates to production.
• Collaborate with PCF Framework to integrate and develop shared components, enhancing the stability and functionality of shared modules.
• Consider the performance, reliability, and scalability of the work.
• Break down tasks into clear steps, update progress regularly, ask questions, and report issues to relevant stakeholders, proposing solutions when needed.
• Work closely with the Principal and Project Architect to implement high-quality features and code, proactively identifying and addressing risks with the team.
• Proactively participate in code reviews to share knowledge and learn from other team members.
• Occasionally support the Lead in recruitment projects with HR collaboration.
• Stay informed of best practices and technical solutions used within the company.
• Work with QA teams to define testing requirements for new and existing features.
• Collaborate with backend programmers to integrate features and potentially expand backend functionality.
• Contribute to defining backend feature requirements.
• Achieve a high level of automated testing.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in the console/PC gaming industry.
• Involved in the production cycle of at least one title.
• Strong primary programming language skills.
• Good knowledge of source control and code review tools (Swarm, Perforce, Git, etc.).
• Good knowledge of project management software (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
• Understanding of client-server methodology, scalability, and security.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Experience developing online features for console or PC video games.
• Ability to write solid, reliable, and efficient code.
• Familiarity with C++ programming.
• Strong mentoring skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Nice to have: Experience with other programming languages, Unreal Engine knowledge, experience with online services (PSN, Live, PlayFab, etc.), Jira, Swarm, Git/Perforce proficiency, Kotlin, Go, Python, or SQL knowledge, Bachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science or a related field.
