Full-Time Senior Product Owner, Fraud and Identity

You will be part of Experian's Fraud, Innovation, and Commercialization management team, developing products, innovations, and propositions that support clients across multiple industries including financial services, FinTech, health, auto, public sector, e-commerce and more. You will report to the Senior Manager Identity Fraud Product Management and work with one or more scrum teams to drive product development of best-of-breed solutions such as Precise ID, KIQ, Identity Element Network, and more.

As a Product Owner, you will spend much of your time writing requirements, participating in Agile development ceremonies, leading backlog refinement sessions, helping scrum teams with decisions on priorities on a daily basis, and planning out roadmaps.

Specifically, you'll work with Product Managers and several internal cross-functional stakeholders to understand opportunities to improve fraud management capabilities and focus on deriving solutions to given business problems.

You will maximize the value of our identity and fraud solutions by prioritizing and driving new product releases, enhancements, and fixes as the product representative for one or more agile software development teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Product Owner for one or more scrum teams
2. Working with the Product Manager and stakeholders to understand the business problem, voice of customer, and identify capabilities to add to the product
3. Produce a healthy backlog by refining prioritized features into user stories
4. Define sprint goals and manage scope and deliverables of a release
5. Define acceptance criteria and drive iteration goals via prioritized stories
6. Lead design deep-dives, grooming sessions, and coordinate with internal cross-functional stakeholders on gathering integration and operational requirements
7. Lead preparation of backlog for PI planning sessions and plan roadmaps
8. Accept user stories at the end of sprint and facilitate internal stakeholder communication about project status and releases
9. Review and support product documentation activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Product Manager within a Software/Technology context
• 5+ years of related experience
• Technical expertise and the ability to work with customers and other stakeholders
• Experience working in an Agile environment in software product development, using one or more of the primary Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/XP etc.)
• Experience networking, collaborating, and influencing different partners
• Demonstrate an understanding of business processes and apply to translate that understanding into technical requirements
• Experience in the identity and fraud industry is considered an advantage
• Industry or academic certifications relevant to the domain, technology, and/or discipline of Product Ownership
• Expertise using Jira and Confluence to capture and prioritize release requirements
• Experience with user interface product development and working with user experience design teams
