Job Summary: We seek a skilled Senior Technical QA Engineer to ensure the highest quality of our mobile applications. The ideal candidate will excel in test automation, analysis, and a structured testing approach.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for mobile applications.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage (functional, regression, performance, security).
- Collaborate with engineers to define test strategies and ensure testability.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Develop and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks for mobile apps (WebdriverIO, Appium).
- Ensure mobile app compatibility across various devices/OS versions.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Evaluate and implement new testing tools/technologies.
- Advocate for best QA practices and structured testing methodologies.
- Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring defects.
- Monitor and report QA metrics to provide insights into software quality.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and related teams.
- Mentor other QA engineers and share knowledge.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience as a Senior QA Engineer.
- Proven expertise in test automation frameworks (WebdriverIO, XCUITest, Appium).
- Strong programming skills (Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with performance and security testing.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
