Full-Time Senior Software Engineer

Mirantis is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our development team.

We build enterprise software addressing operational and security challenges of managing cloud native platforms such as Kubernetes. We provide integrated tools for running containerized workloads with Docker.

Our product, Mirantis Kubernetes Engine, manages mission-critical services at Fortune 500 companies and many other organizations globally.

Main Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing features and enhancements in Go for our Mirantis Kubernetes Engine product.
• Collaborating with customers and product management to enhance existing products and create next-generation cloud-native platform.
• Closely working with teammates in design, code, and test-plan reviews.
• Becoming an expert in cloud technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Implementing and maintaining meaningful unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Participating in and contributing to agile methodologies and best practices.
• Building tools and software to improve software development, deployment, and management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of Go programming experience, or other modern language suitable for production applications.
• Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes, and their networking/storage cloud-native technologies in production environments.
• 2+ years of experience with Linux or Windows Server.
• Experience with or willingness to learn public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Passion for learning and adopting new technologies.
• Ability to take ownership and complete tasks.
• Troubleshooting and debugging complex distributed systems.
