CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a seasoned and problem-solving Senior Technical AI Producer to join our Vancouver team and help drive the development and delivery of IA-powered solutions that will shape the next generation of immersive gaming experiences and tools.
In this role, you will manage cross-functional projects that enhance the user experience, improve game development pipelines, and boost the creative capabilities of our teams.
- Planning and Management: Plan, manage schedules, milestones, and resource allocation to align with studio-wide priorities.
- Resource Coordination: Secure and coordinate key resources including AI engineers, subject matter experts, QA, and infrastructure support.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster communication and collaboration across interdisciplinary teams to ensure alignment and high-quality IA solutions delivery.
- Project Tracking and Risk Management: Track project progress, proactively identify risks, and adapt plans to evolving technical and production needs.
- Interteam Communication: Act as a key liaison between development teams, leadership, and external partners, keeping all parties informed and gathering feedback.
- Balance R&D and Production: Find the right balance between R&D and the production/delivery of IA solutions to game development teams.
- Budget Management: Manage project budgets.
- QA and External Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate closely with QA teams and external technology vendors to ensure IA systems are performant, stable, and user-friendly.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay current on emerging trends in AI and game development, assess relevance, and make informed implementation decisions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AI or technical project management in the game industry or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, their implementation in games, and related workflows.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, and strong leadership qualities.
- Ability to bridge the gap between technical knowledge and creative vision, and translate between engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and project tracking tools.
- A proactive learning mindset, and ability to adapt to rapidly evolving environments.
