Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain the tools that our talented group of Artists, Animators, and Designers depend on. Ensure that the tools, plugins, and custom scripts we make are stable and performant. Document the evaluation, adaptation, and training of all tools and workflows. Be an integral member of a cross-disciplinary group to innovate and elevate capabilities and capacities of our company. Maintain a very high degree of personal/professional accountability and excellent communication skills. Bachelor's Degree, MS preferred, or 10+ years of relevant experience. 1+ shipped UE4/5 game on PC and/or 9th gen console, in the last 3 years. An up-to-date portfolio demonstrating process and expertise for custom solutions, both in Maya and in Unreal Engine. Comprehensive knowledge of modeling, texturing, shading, rigging, animation, lighting, and rendering tools/workflows in Maya and in UE5. Expert knowledge of C++, Python, and Unreal BP for developing custom scripts, tools, and plugins for UE5.Bonus Qualifications Experience building shader and material libraries. Strong math skills: 3D math, dot arithmetic, and working knowledge of analytic geometry. Experience with migrating, integrating and debugging non-UE5 game assets to UE5.
