Full-Time Senior Technical Artist - Tools & Pipeline

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Technical Artist focused on Tools and Pipelines for Project Orion, the follow-up to Cyberpunk 2077.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with designers, artists, and developers to understand their needs and ensure optimal tool/pipeline utilization.
2. Extend and enhance DCC applications (e.g., Maya, MotionBuilder).
3. Ensure tools maintain performance and efficiency for content creation teams.
4. Develop high-quality, optimized, and bug-free code aligned with project goals.
5. Prototype, research, extend, and integrate in-house and third-party tools.
6. Provide documentation, training, and guidance to development teams.
7. Foster collaboration across teams to ensure tools effectively support all game systems.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a tools & pipeline developer or technical artist in game or film.
• Proficient in C++, C#, and/or Python for tool/plugin development and scripting.
• Familiarity with content creation software (e.g., Blender, Maya, Substance Painter).
• Understanding of content creation processes and supporting varied content teams.
• Experience creating, extending, and maintaining APIs for co-developers.
• Familiarity with application interoperability, network automation, batching, and packaged environments.
• Strong problem-solving and innovative thinking skills.
• Demonstrated ownership, goal-setting, knowledge-sharing, and independent initiative.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for conveying complex technical concepts.

Location: Fully remote within USA or Canada.
