Full-Time Senior UI Technical Artist

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Senior UI Technical Artist to join our studio in Boston to work on Project Orion, the follow-up to Cyberpunk 2077 and the next major video game in the Cyberpunk franchise.

This technical role will work with a diverse team to build engaging, performant, and effective UI.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Working closely with UI Artists, UI programmers, and developers.
• Creating workflows and pipelines.
• Implementing and maintaining UI assets in Unreal 5.
• Delivering technical designs and reviewing user experience.
• Communicating scenarios, interactions, and designs to the team.
• Ensuring technical consistency and integrity of UI assets.
• Troubleshooting technical problems.
• Defining and documenting technical standards and best practices.
• Testing and debugging UI content.
• Maintaining the production pipeline and meeting deadlines.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience with UI development or Technical Art in the gaming industry.
• Ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in design tools (Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, InVision).
• Intermediate C# programming skills.
• Expertise with Blueprint and Unreal 5.
• HLSL and Unity ShaderLab knowledge.
• Understanding of graphics optimization practices.
• Ability to do layout designs.
• Knowledge of anchor/layout design for different aspect ratios.
• Understanding of different input systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
