Job Details
Gameloft is seeking a highly skilled Senior Unity Game Developer for the Despicable Me 2 project on mobile platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and program the game according to design specifications and programming rules.
- Contribute to game design and technical specifications.
- Integrate all game elements (engine, gameplay, UI, graphics/animations, sound).
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with colleagues across all departments (2D/3D artists, game/level designers, backend team).
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in C# programming and Unity engine.
- Experience with C++.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture and OOP principles (SOLID, design patterns).
- Experience with 3D mathematics.
- Mobile and/or console programming experience.
- Multithreading experience.
- Teamwork, responsibility, and commitment to deadlines.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Bonus: Video game programming or 3D application experience (personal projects), knowledge of online communication/networking technologies, experience with Objective-C/Swift, graphics engines, AI, scripting languages (Lua, Python, etc.), QT, POSIX systems.
