Full-Time Senior UX Researcher

Senior UX Researcher is a crucial member of the Research Team at Adaptavist.

The team utilizes various research methodologies and evaluation tools to inform product development across business units.

Focuses on User Experience and Market Research.

Responsibilities:

• Providing actionable insights for product development.
• Promoting a user-centered culture.
• Supporting strategic choices across multiple products.
• Working closely with senior stakeholders.
• Strong expertise in qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
• Innovating and introducing new research methods.
• Structuring projects to align with business goals.
• Ensuring effective collaboration for research recommendations.
• Mentoring junior researchers.
• Enabling other stakeholders to conduct research.
• Coordinating external resources.
• Ensuring projects stay on track and meet deadlines.
• Occasional in-person presence at the Madrid office.
• Working with stakeholders to ensure user-centricity.
• Overseeing multiple projects, coordinating stakeholders and securing resources.
• Aligning project goals with business objectives.
• Agreeing on deadlines, budgets, and delivery schedules.
• Helping product teams proactively plan research needs.
• Mentoring junior researchers (and PWDRs).
• Assisting product managers in articulating product vision.
• Integrating research findings into product roadmap.
• Influencing strategic direction and tactical actions.
• Partnering closely with UX designers.
• Communicating bandwidth limitations and managing projects autonomously.
• Coordinating third-party research contributions.
• Delivering research excellence.
• Driving foundational and strategic research projects.
• Balancing and allocating research resources.
• Contributing to participant database and recruitment.
• Creating high-quality deliverables.
• Undertaking projects that inform multiple product teams.
• Surfacing insights to guide the business unit and leadership.
• Developing a deep understanding of user needs.
• Developing research programs.
• Participating in Research team learning initiatives.
• Supporting a culture of continuous learning.
• Driving foundational and strategic research projects.
• Balancing and allocating research resources.
• Contributing to building a participant database.
• Evaluating recruitment needs proactively.
• Communicating with ResOps to establish recruitment pathways.
• Creating high-quality deliverables.
• Undertaking projects that inform multiple product teams.
• Surfacing insights to guide the business unit and promote awareness among leadership.
• Developing a deep understanding of user needs within a practice or problem area.
• Developing research programs where sequential projects deepen product teams' understanding of the customer base and support sustained product development.
• Participating in the Research team’s learning initiatives.
• Applying learnings in practice.
• Supporting a culture of continuous learning within the team

Skills Required:

• Spanish and English proficiency
• Significant UX research experience, preferably in a senior/leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects.
• Expertise in aligning research with business objectives.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and storytelling skills.
• Experience guiding and mentoring junior researchers.
• Deep understanding of UX research methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to integrate research findings into product roadmap.
• Ability to lead and inspire teamwork.
• Skilled in coordinating stakeholder contributions.
• Experience in fast-paced SaaS tech environments.
• Proficient in tools like Confluence, Jira, and research platforms (Userinterviews, Prolific, Maze, SurveyMonkey).
• Experience in popularizing research.
• Solid background in Agile methodologies
• Advanced data analysis and statistical methods (regression analysis, multivariate testing)
• Accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
• Experience in a technical discipline.
