Full-Time Senior UX/UI Designer

We seek an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team, combining creativity and ecommerce platform understanding. You'll shape client website experiences, focusing on usability and visual design.

What You’ll Be Doing
Take ownership of the end-to-end design process across ecommerce projects, predominantly full replatforms. From discovery & audits to UI kit creation & presentations, ensure designs are purposeful, on-brand, and commercially effective. This role involves hands-on design and consultation to shape outcomes. Collaborate with clients, developers, and product teams, supporting UX research and identifying post-launch experience enhancements.

Key Responsibilities (Examples, not exhaustive):

1. Facilitate and contribute to workshops (ideation, requirements, problem definition).
2. Conduct research to understand end-user needs and identify improvement opportunities.
3. Translate research into wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI designs (mobile, tablet, desktop).
4. Lead design of user-focused, scalable ecommerce experiences for increased conversions and retention.
5. Create, document, and maintain Design Systems (reusable components, styles).
6. Produce design deliverables (wireframes, IA diagrams, workflows, prototypes, final UI designs).
7. Collaborate with developers and QA to ensure implementation adherence to designs, SEO, and accessibility standards.
8. Advise clients on feature prioritization, functionality, and UX best practices.
9. Contribute to internal UX practice by sharing trends, methodologies, and best practices.
10. Stay informed about ecommerce platforms, limitations, and project costs.
11. Keep up-to-date on mobile-first, responsive design, and UI trends.

Who You Are

• Essential skills and experience:
• Minimum 3 years UX/UI design experience, including agency-side ecommerce project work.
• Extensive experience creating and scaling Design Systems with strong foundational knowledge (color, type, layout, responsive design).
• Proven ability to create attractive, on-brand, user-centered designs that deliver results.
• Strong portfolio showcasing ecommerce journeys (product listings, PDPs, checkout, loyalty, post-purchase).
• Expertise designing with constraints (platform templates, customer data/content/imagery).
• Proficient in Figma and prototyping tools.
• Confident facilitating workshops and presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with UX research methods and data-informed design.
• Knowledge of accessibility, SEO, performance considerations in UX/UI.
• Experience collaborating with developers and QA teams.
• Understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, color theory.
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Nice to have:
• Experience designing with CRO tools (Optimizely, Convert, VWO).
• First-hand UX research experience (opportunity audits, user testing, surveys, competitor benchmarking).
• Understanding of performance metrics (CLS, LCP) and their UX implications.
• Exposure to agile development workflows.
