Full-Time Solar Power Plant Manager

Power Plant Manager Responsibilities:

• HSSE: Lead and supervise operational activities following safety regulations. Participate in safety procedure implementation. Monitor prevention plan progress, subcontractor training, and certifications.
• Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, energy forecasting, and billing. Contribute to performance improvement strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contract & Stakeholder Management: Ensure contract execution (maintenance, service, supply, subcontractors). Manage guarantees, claims, incidents, and relationships with local authorities, partners, and communities. Comply with all regulations. Manage insurance relationships.
• Performance Management: Monitor KPIs, analyze operational data, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure performance reports completion.
• Various Activities: Deploy new tools to improve team performance, support 24/7 monitoring, and manage operation handover process (before energization, partial commissioning, and documentation). Provide project support before operational phase (defining scopes and prices for operation contracts).

Requirements:

• Engineering background, with at least 2+ years of experience in renewable energy operations and maintenance/operation.
• Strong understanding of technical, contractual, and financial aspects of assets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, creating complex tables, and managing reporting.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.
• Demonstrate curiosity in renewable energy technology, foresight, prioritization, and adaptability.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with remote relationship management capabilities across different time zones.
