The Solution Design Manager role involves translating customer feedback into scalable AI and automation solutions. This role requires a blend of strategy, research, design, and storytelling. The manager will understand executive priorities, identify user pain points, and architect platform-powered solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Consolidate insights from Product, Industry, and Customer Success teams.
- Lead discovery sessions with customers and industry experts.
- Stay current on industry trends.
- Understand ServiceNow product capabilities and integration points.
- Synthesize inputs into platform-ready solution designs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align on solution scope.
- Experiment with AI for research and storytelling.
- Shape solution design processes and best practices.
Requirements:
- 7+ years in design, user research, or strategy consulting.
- Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research.
- Ability to connect user value, product capability, and business outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI and modern design tools.
- Fluency in design thinking and journey mapping.
- Intellectual curiosity and drive to simplify complexity.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow products is a plus.
- Industry familiarity in financial services, telecom, or public sector is a plus.
