Job Details
Responsibilities:
• Handling the monthly client billing and revenue accounting processes for the Software product line.
• Assisting with the input of supplier bills for US and international subsidiaries.
• Calculating and recording month-end revenue accrual, journal entries, including intercompany entries.
• Delivering comprehensive balance sheet account reconciliations and data and financial analysis to verify accuracy.
• Reviewing existing and new client and supplier contracts to ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Interacting with clients and suppliers to solve problems and provide support.
• Collaborating closely with other business units to fulfill business needs and identify process improvements.
• Assisting with external audit deliverables and internal process documentation when requested.
• Monitoring internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Cross-training with Finance team to share and improve process knowledge.
• Preparing ad hoc financial reporting and analysis and completing special projects, as needed.
• Utilizing Excel formulas and other skills such as Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, and Analyze Revenues to perform duties effectively.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant for a minimum of 3 years
• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations
• Solid understanding of General Ledger management
• Experience in preparing and posting Journal Entries
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of advanced Excel Formulas
• Demonstrated ability to handle Month End Close procedures
• Experience in analyzing revenues to identify trends and make recommendations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Attention to detail and problem-solving capacity
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
