About the Role: As a Senior Test Lead, you will oversee the entire testing process for a product or development team. You will partner with development and support teams, manage testing deliverables, prioritize tasks, track team performance, and report results. You will also drive team process improvements, forecasting, team morale, and mentoring other test leaders. You will be instrumental in test automation and tooling solutions that benefit the team and project.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, recruit, and mentor a QA team for high-quality results and strong internal relationships.
- Collaborate with Production & Development leadership on priorities, objectives, and risk mitigation.
- Coordinate planning and test requirements across teams and vendors for alignment and productivity.
- Contribute to and lead automation development to integrate solutions into QA processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in QA quality, efficiency, and team dynamics.
- Monitor and report on KPIs and user experience trends.
- Partner with Production and Project Leads to triage and prioritize bug backlogs.
- Help shape the QA vision and showcase team achievements.
Qualifications:
- Proven project management experience for large QA groups or complex areas, with at least 2 years of experience in a QA leadership or similar PM role.
- Strong understanding of test methodologies, device platforms (mobile, PC), and QA automation/tooling integration.
- Self-driven, passionate about continuous improvement and quality.
- Strong leadership skills with clear communication, constructive feedback.
- Passion for video games and the player experience.
- Experience working in deeply embedded development teams, fostering Dev-QA collaboration.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, early-stage environments.
- Familiarity with a shift-left approach, including early involvement in tooling, in-editor testing, and quality-focused design.
