Full-Time Staff Accountant

Requirements

• 2+ years bookkeeping experience
• QuickBooks experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Responsibilities

• This position will work closely with the Controller and Senior Accountant
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and support schedules
• Assist with the monthly close procedures
• Maintain the general ledger
• Prepare weekly cash flow statements
• Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends as requested
• Communicate with employees to obtain necessary purchase information and receipts, using judgment to resolve incomplete purchase details
• Track and manage fixed assets in conjunction with accounts payable
• Analyze construction vendor invoices for taxable items and file monthly sales tax returns
