Job Details
In this role, you’ll create software that automatically generates 3D environments or objects. Your software will use real-world data (maps or object details) to make environments more realistic. Output is compatible with Unreal and Unity, or as standalone models.
Work closely with Pipeline and AI/ML teams to improve 3D data flow for game environments.
Develop procedural generation techniques and software compatible with Unreal, Unity, and/or raw mesh output, using semantic data.
Solve technical challenges to balance visual quality, realism, and performance in modern game engines, on commodity hardware.
Contribute to Pipeline and AI/ML teams’ design and road mapping process to fine-tune data pipelines for game environments.
Partner closely with leadership to understand the high-level product vision.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years relevant industry experience, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment, demonstrating a proven track record of success and leadership in gaming.
- Experience with Houdini, Unreal Engine, Unity, or similar game engines. Proficient in developing interactive applications, optimizing performance, and implementing real-time 3D graphics and gameplay features.
- Extensive experience with procedural generation tools (Houdini, Unreal Engine's PCG, or Blender).
- Proficient in C++ with a solid understanding of ecosystems and ability to use for software development, scripting, and automation.

Salary: $140,000 - $165,000 (bonus eligible)
