About the role
As a Staff Product UX Designer, you will play a key role in defining end-to-end experiences across our platform. You’ll drive strategic design initiatives, elevate the craft and thinking of the broader design team, and partner deeply with product, marketing, and engineering to shape the future of data experiences.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead the design of high-impact features and workflows such as onboarding and the Dremio Enterprise Catalog UX, with a focus on usability, clarity and customer value
- Turn complex concepts and technical requirements into frictionless and intuitive designs
- Partner with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to create product experiences that are intuitive and raise the bar on simplicity and usability
- Conduct research and run user studies with internal and external users to validate concepts and ideas
- Help shape the UX vision and design culture at Dremio by championing best practices, design thinking, and user-centered design
What we’re looking for
- 8+ years of experience in product design
- A portfolio demonstrating a track record of leading and delivering thoughtful, high-impact product design in complex domains
- Experience building, maintaining, and scaling design systems for enterprise products
- Experience designing for B2B SaaS applications and technical users, such as developers, data engineers, or data analysts
- Strong interaction design, and visual design skills, with fluency in tools like Figma
- Focus on customer centricity
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to present work clearly and explain design rationale to different audiences
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, iterative environment
- Bonus points if you have Familiarity with concepts in data engineering, databases/data lakes, analytics, or cloud infrastructure.
