Job Details

The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for meeting assigned quota by selling to new and existing customers in the assigned territory. The role is customer-facing and requires significant time spent building and maintaining meaningful relationships with enterprise clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop territory plans for assigned accounts, in collaboration with management.
  2. Develop product knowledge, mapping to customer strategic imperatives and articulating business value to C-suite, technical, product, and finance teams.
  3. Plan engagement activities to build and maintain enterprise accounts, delivering long-term benefits while exceeding quota.
  4. Qualify sales opportunities using the MEDDPICC methodology.
  5. Leverage Force Management sales methodology in customer interactions to drive positive outcomes.
  6. Identify, cultivate, and formalize relationships with key partners and third parties involved in selling information security solutions.
  7. Follow up on leads (incoming and self-generated), articulating the need for identity security and privileged access management.
  8. Lead the entire sales cycle, from lead generation through proof of value, negotiation, contracting, and deal closing.
  9. Accurately forecast business and maintain Salesforce CRM.
  10. Operate effectively within the Account Executive team and lead cross-functional teams (e.g., go-to-market, marketing).
  11. Collaborate with channel partners to expand sales and delivery reach.
  12. Negotiate terms/pricing and close deals.
  13. Demonstrate success in SaaS and subscription sales, preferably with large enterprise software solutions.
  14. Relate IT to business objectives; understand use cases and requirements for securing sensitive data and IT systems.
  15. Possess knowledge in Cybersecurity, Identity Management, Database Management, SIEM, Compliance, Information Security, or Enterprise IT.
  16. Maintain an active network of contacts across the Enterprise customer ecosystem.
