About Pocket Worlds: At Pocket Worlds, we're building innovative social experiences. Our platform, Highrise, connects millions.
About the Role: We seek a Technical Animator to bring characters, environments, and props to life in Highrise.
Responsibilities:
- Design and produce character and object animations (including pseudo-3D effects).
- Develop visual effects in Unity.
- Collaborate with the art team.
- Optimize and prepare assets for game integration.
- Oversee animation asset integration into Unity.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years in mobile game development, focused on animation.
- Strong animation passion, detail-orientation, and teamwork skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced rigging skills (Spine or Unity).
- Expertise in 2D and pseudo-3D character animation.
- Proficient in optimizing animations for mobile.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Hands-on Unity experience.
- Familiarity with animation trends.
- Portfolio showcasing animation work is required.
