Full-Time Textile Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented textile engineer to join our team as a Founding Textile Engineer. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sustainability, clean supply chain, and have a strong desire to make a positive impact on the world.

About LitKnit:

LitKnit is developing the next generation of sustainable compression wear. By utilizing cutting edge textiles LitKnit offers superior durability, performance, and odor control while maintaining a cleaner, more sustainable supply chain and material set. We’re changing how people move and ensuring that their clothing contributes to the long term health of the planet.

Responsibilities:

• Work with manufacturing partners to design and produce new textiles
• Work closely with the founders to communicate design requirements to the consumer
• Collaborate with our marketing and sales teams to promote the product
• Support patent process in all technical aspects
• Full technical ownership of development process
• Act as technical sales support for B2B engagements

Qualifications:

• Sustainability and contributing to a healthier planet should be a core motivation for you
• Master’s degree in Textile Design / Textile Engineering
• Eagerness to learn, challenge the status quo, build on new concepts
• Strong communication and attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will be working closely with the CEO and play a pivotal role in delivering our first and future products
